-  Important deposits of barytes occur in district of Alwar and Udaipur.  -  In Alwar it occurs in the area of Sainpuri, Zahir Ka kera, Ramsinghpura, Bhankhera, Karoli, Jamroli, Umrain, Girara, Dholera and a reserve of 75000 tonnes containing 95% BaSO4.  -  In Udaipur district it is found near village Relpatliya where about 1 million tonne reserves containing 80 to 95% BaSO4 have been assessed by the Mining department of Rajasthan .  -  In R ajsamand district baryte occurs in Delwara-Kesuli-Nathdwara belt where 41000 tonnes of baryte reserves containing 60-95% BaSO4 were estimated.  -  In Bundi dist rict . it is found in Umar area where 1650 tonnes of byrates reserves containing 78.6% BaSO4 have been assessed.  -  Similarly in Bhilwara district a reserve of 1600 tonnes of barytes containing 80-90% BaSO4 were estimated. *. बेराइट्स के महत्वपूर्ण भंडार अलवर तथा उदयपुर जिले में है।   *. अलवर में यह सैनपुरी , जहीर का खेड़ा , रामसिंहपुरा ,   भानखेड़ा
