Recipient of numerous awards by presenting Rajasthan's famous Terahtali dance for fifty consecutive years, the dancer Mangibai born in Banila village of Chittorgarh district. At the age of only ten years her child marriage was done in Pali district's Padarla village which is famous for Terahtali dance. She learned all the nuances of the art of Terahtali dance from his brother-in-law Gormdas in this village. This dance was ancestral occupation of their family and community, so Mangibai also adopted this dance as the profession.
