An MOU was signed with ADB for Jaipur Metro's phase-I (B) for funding - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide Rs 969-crore ( $176 million) loan to construct Jaipur Metro's phase-I (B) project proposed from Badi Chaupar to Chandpole area and an agreement (MOU) was signed by the state government along with the Centre and Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) with Asian Development bank on Thursday 29 May 2014 in New Delhi. The loan has a 23-year term including a grace prepaid of eight years with commitment charges of 0.15% maturity premium of 0.10% (as straight line repayment method) and interest rate to be determined in accordance with the ADB's Libor-based lending facility. This MOU was signed by ADB's country director Miss Terasa kho, Joint Secretary, Finance department GoI Mr. Nilay Mitash, JMRC chief managing director Mr. NC Goel and Principal secretary Govt. of Rajasthan Mr. D.
