Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha sworn in as 41st CJI
न्यायमूर्ति राजेन्द्र मल लोढ़ा भारत के उच्चतम न्यायालय के 41 वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश बने

Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha, of age 64, sworn in as 41st Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India on April 27, 2014 and took over his charge. The President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee appointed him as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India under the powers conferred under Article 124 Part 2 of constitution of India. Justice Lodha was born on September 28, 1949   in the city of Jodhpur.                 Mr. Rajendra Mal Lodha was working as a judge of the Supreme Court.   His father, Mr. SK Mal Lodha was a judge of the High Court of Rajasthan. He acquired his Bachelor of Science, Law degrees from the University of Jodhpur. After obtaining a degree in Law, he was associated as a lawyer with the Bar Council of Rajasthan in February 1973.      Justice Lodha was appointed as Judge of the Rajasthan High Court on January 31, 1994. He was transferred in to the High Court Mumbai on February 16, 1994 and again in Rajasthan High Court on February 2, 2007. He was appointed as
